How it works:
01. INQUIRY
Start by filling out the Contact Form with details about your event or commission, what it’s for, the date, location, your vision, and any special requests. Gio will read through and respond within 24-48 hours to connect with you.
02. PROPOSAL
After connecting via Zoom or Phone, we’ll send over a tailored proposal with package options, pricing, and any custom add-ons.
03. CONTRACT + DEPOSIT
Once we land on the perfect package, Gio will send over an contract and invoice. A signed agreement and deposit will reserve your date.
04. PREP CALL
We’ll schedule a 30-minute prep call to walk through the details:
Energy, logistics, paper style, typewriter setup, day-of communication and expectations, etc.
We make sure we are on the same page.
05. POEM DAY
Gio arrives ready to create—typewriter in tow. Each poem is written live and on-the-spot for your guests or loved ones, bringing wonder and delight in real time.
For remote commissions or virtual events, the process happens off-site, with the same care and attention.
06. FOLLOW-UP
After your event or delivery, you’ll receive a short reflection form.
We’d love to hear what it meant to you, what your guests said, and how the live typewriter experience elevated your event.

FAQs
How many poems can I expect at an event?
It depends on your guest count and the flow of the event, but I write at a steady pace.
At larger events, I’ve written up to 90 custom poems in just 4 hours.
If your guests are especially curious or chatty (which I love), that may affect the pace slightly. Every poem is created with care, connection, and intention.
How far in advance should I book with you?
I recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to secure your date, especially for corporate events and high-traffic seasons (October-May).
For weddings, typically six months to a year in advance is common.
Do you travel?
Yes! I’m based in St. Pete/Tampa Bay and happily travel for events across Florida and beyond. Travel fees will apply outside of Tampa Bay—just send a note with your event details and I can give you a quote.
Do you bring your own set up?
Yes and no. I’ll arrive with my typewriter, paper, signage, and everything I need to create a seamless experience. I just ask for a table, chair, and ideally a spot with shade or quiet, depending on your venue. If you want my branding to match your event signage/aesthetic, let us know and we can send it over.
Do you offer poems in advance or virtual events?
Yes! For retreats, remote teams, and virtual experiences, I can type poems live over Zoom or deliver a bundle of custom pieces in advance.
What’s your payment policy?
A 50% deposit secures your date. Final payment is due 1 week before your event. No refunds.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Bookings are non-refundable, but I’ll do my best to accommodate reschedules with enough notice, and as long as the date is open. Reschedules are not guaranteed.
What if Gio has to cancel due to emergency or illness?
You receive a full refund.
